Replication on top of backup

With Hexion Replicated, copies are replicated between any two selected locations: NTT, Teraco or ADC. Shield stores its copy at one selected location.

    Connect your ONTAP environment in BlueXP and configure Hexion's StorageGRID endpoint with your secure tenant credentials.

    Connect

    Select eligible volumes and the Hexion target in the supported NetApp workflow. Configure backup policies or FabricPool tiering to suit your workload.

  3. 03

    Protect

    Start your initial backup, then incremental-forever backups. For tiering, enable a suitable cold-data policy. Validate recovery and supported retention settings.

Backup and FabricPool are separate workflows. Availability, licensing and Object Lock support depend on your ONTAP, BlueXP and StorageGRID versions; confirm compatibility before deployment.
